Since 1992, when Michael Richards discovered a way to make wax from soybeans, soy wax has become a popular natural wax to employ for soy candle creating as an alternative wax to both paraffin wax and beeswax. Since the paraffin wax is not a food class paraffin wax then it can include toxic impurities or artificial resins and the price of beeswax could be prohibitive even though it offers a beautiful scent and is natural.

Soy candles are a favorite choice for consumers because soy candles have a longer burning time and they produce less soot than paraffin candles. Soy candles are also an environmentally friendly candle choice because soybeans are renewable and the soy candle smoke does not create toxic fumes.

It is less difficult with soycandlemaking for the candle maker because the soy wax actually cleans up with soap and water and you may securely wash your equipment without much of a mess. Beeswax and paraffin wax both may be difficult to clean up when they dripped onto a fabric or surface, which signifies that making soy candles is cleaner than candle making with either paraffin wax or beeswax.

Because soy wax is a versatile candle wax, you can use it in the same ways that you can use either paraffin wax or beeswax. Soy candle making will provide you with natural and quality candles that are appropriate for use in the home or as gifts for your family and friends.
