Christmas came a little early at my house this year…or rather…the stockings were stuffed early. I got a package of Stocking Stuffer Kits from Brambleberry. Two of the kits allow you to make 4 beeswax container candles, 4 bottles of beeswax lotion and 4 salt scrubs with almond oil- in either a Spice fragrance theme or a Sweet fragrance theme. There’s also a nifty Glitter Soap Kit that will make 8 bars of glittery holiday themed soaps. These are going to make great gifts for folks on Christmas, and are going to be a fun project for my son and I to do together today. (I’ll post pics of our results!)
Now admittedly, it’s a bit late for you all to get some of these kits…but Christmas aside, these kits have all sorts of possibilities:
- Beginner or starter kits – they have just enough to try a particular project out
- Wedding favors or bridal shower gifts
- Mother’s Day, Easter or Father’s Day gifts
- Teacher, tutor, housekeeper, hairstylist appreciation gifts
Basically, they’re a great, convenient, self-contained package to whip up some delightful treats for folks you care about. And they come with just enough to complete the project – no waste, no extra investment in ingredients or equipment.
O.k…I have to get to work!
